The path to God isn’t exclusive for ‘perfect’ people to walk on. It’s for the broken, the depraved, the lowly, the lost, the ones feeling empty, the ones rundown by life, the ones seeking meaning, the ones seeking hope, the ones seeking redemption. It’s for everyone. You’re not meant to become perfect and then tread the path to God. The path to God is waiting for you to begin your journey on it in whatever state you are because it is on that path that you will become a better you. So don’t lose heart. Don’t get comfortable in the dark thinking that you can’t get to God. He’s already with you, listening to you, providing for you, protecting you. So close. Closer than you think, closer than your jugular. If only you gain the courage to walk to Him, He’ll rush towards you. But you must take the first step. You must ignite your love for Him and you’ll find Him. You will find Him. You will find Him. I promise. He promised.
